Course duration: 2 days
Intro to the course:
The 2-day First Aid at Work course is designed for those who currently hold a First Aid at Work qualification and are due to expire.
The following rules will apply to attend:
Special considerations are:
OR …
-
A First Aider can re-qualify with the 2 day course as long as their First Aid at Work qualification is either still in date or within 1 month past the expiry date.
-
If the First Aiders qualification has expired by more than 1 month, but not more than 3 months, then the First Aider can requalify by attending the 2 day course providing the below special considerations have been met;
-
A signed letter from the employer to Sarah Game Training stating the reasons why the First Aider is suitably experienced to attend a 2-day course and does not require a full 3-day FAW course. This could be because they have been a first aider for several years and have attended a variety of courses, they have been actively doing first aid, they have other qualifications such as nurse, doctor, lifeguard etc or if they have been attending on-going training.
-
A decision is made by Sarah Game Training after discussions with the employer, or the First Aider, and deciding that their previous experience is sufficient to attend a 2-day course
-
If the First Aider has expired by more than 3 months then they must attend a full 3-day First Aid at Work course.
